NEXT season will mark a reunion of sorts for Albury foorballers Jayden Kotzur, Joel Mackie and Shaun Daly.

The Tiger trio represented the NSW PSSA football team in 1997 and are the three youngsters pictured on the left listening intently to coach Owen Dunlop during a training session at Lavington.

Kotzur remembers the championships at Brisbane well.

“It’s taken us a while to get back in the same side,” Kotzur said.

“I think we won a couple of games during the championships, but we didn’t set the world on fire.”

Lavington star Luke Schilg was also in the team, along with former Sydney Swans rookie player Luke Taylor and Alastair MacKenzie, the brother of Morris medallist Ryan.

Holbrook footballer Aaron Pitson was also in the line-up and many of his former teammates are organising a fundraiser for him at the Star Hotel on Sunday from 12pm to 4pm.

He suffered horrific injuries in a moped accident in Thailand last month including a fractured pelvis, broken elbow and has a $30,000 medical bill.

Tickets are being sold for $100 with the chance to win $3000 plus many other prizes on the day.
