Rescheduled from October due to the COVID-19 crisis, the IG Big Band returns to The Cube Wodonga on Sunday, March 28.
North East-based swing veteran Ivan Gellie said he had put together a quality program of swing and jazz rock.
"It is the best program I've put together yet," he said.
"There is a fair bit of swing plus some of the later stuff like The Jazz Police to appeal to all ages."
IN OTHER NEWS:
Celebrating its eighth year of performing at The Cube Wodonga, the IG Big Band is a 20-piece outfit made up of border and imported musicians, led by Gellie. There will be seven vocalists.
Gellie welcomed the return of live performances, which were halted owing to the global pandemic.
"I'm looking forward to getting all of the musicians back together at last," Gellie said.
"We'll be doing 26 pieces and we usually have done no more than 22 or 23."
The show starts at 2pm.
