A Border beautician has been recognised internationally, with her beauty bar named one of the top five lash studios in the world.

Albury's Lauren Lappin opened Allure Lash and Beauty Bar in 2014 and said she was ecstatic her hard work was being recognised on an international stage.
"I am so excited at being named one of the top five specialist lash salons in the world," she said.
"I have worked so hard... and to be recognised internationally for this is nothing short of amazing.
Mrs Lappin previously worked in warehousing and IT before deciding to follow her passion for beauty therapy and lash extensions.
Her husband, Owen, said he and their two children were incredibly proud of her achievements.

"It hasn't been easy for Lauren being a mum, wife and running two businesses with multiple staff," he said.
"I think it's fantastic to see that she has now been recognised by an international association for all of her years of hard work and dedication."
Mrs Lappin's salon is one of five studios worldwide chosen by the National Association of Lash Artists to be nominated as the Lashion Studio of the Year.
If she wins the competition, her studio will be declared the best in the world.
"When I put my mind to something, especially a personal passion, I give it my all and to be recognised for my hard work will be a dream come true," Mrs Lappin said.
Mrs Lappin was a finalists in the AusMumpreneur awards and won second place in the Australian and New Zealand Lash Master Competition, creative category.
